Amen. God bless America.![]()
Those are pictures I never want to see
not that much solice would be brought about by seeing them, but you don't even have the CHOICE of seeing them. no closure for the families or loved ones.
What I meant was, those images on that web site wouldn't hold a candle to the carnage from 9/11...and we never want to see that again!
And you think that Iraqi people deserve the revenge America is seeking for 9/11? Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11...don't get confused.
Yes. An eye for an eye. With that logic, nobody will have any eyes left.
Yeah! We never want to see that again. So let's do it to other countries.
But their leader did and his loyal followers, see the article out of spain that connect Iraq with 9-11 as was suspected. The Iraq people are true sheep to not throw him to the wolf's with all the shit he has caused them.
Other countries/people have a problem with western culture and our technology advancement should not bomb planes, crash into buildings, or other acts of terrorism against those they convent. They should find a compound and drink lots of purple cool-aid, while crying their eyes out since they are fools of epic status.
I am sick of their excuses and actions - middle east, africa, eastern europe, and parts of asia should be blocked off and let them destroy themselves with their own stupidity.
Ok, thilly gooseth!!!!![]()

Those are weak images.
For REAL war footage, check out ogrish.com and look at the images/videos from the war in Chechnya between Russia and Muslim guerillas. The images linked are tame compared to the ones from Chechnya. People getting their heads cut off (while still alive) with dull knives, etc.
Damn, the animal section was so sad. Humans suck.
On second thought, DON'T go there. If it's the same stuff I saw, then you'll never EVER be able to get it out of your head. The sight of a soldier in that war gurgling and struggling as two men cut his throat from ear to ear...the SOUNDS from that video will stay with me until the day I die. It's more graphic than you can possibly imagine. And usually, Faces Of Death type stuff doesn't bother me. As horrible as it is, it's also the best anti-war argument I've ever seen, so I guess if you've got a wrought-iron stomach, go for it. But be forewarned.
these images are sad.
that being said... Although I'd never wish that upon anyone, if it takes that to ensure the safety of my family, friends, or fellow citizens.. so be it. I'll stand behind my government (even if it may seem blind to others) with folded hands, praying for a swift and least harmful resolution.
As I've always said, better them than my brothers.
A-men. America ain't perfect, but we still have the best system going...in everything there is a purpose under heaven. A time a for peace, and a time for war.
[God bless America, and bless President Bush with wisdom and guidance.

"turn turn turn"
Actually, Biblical: Ecclesiastes 31:
[1] FOR everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose 1 under heaven:
[2] a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;
[3] a time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;
[4] a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
[5] a time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;
[6] a time to seek, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;
[7] a time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
[8] a time to love, and a time to hate; a time for war, and a time for peace.
The Byrds stole material from the BEST!
::grin::
Yes I'm aware of that. Singing it is a lot more fun though ::grin::

Holy fuck. You're quite a nutbar, bible-boy. I don't think God would approve of your thirst for bloodshed.

maybe, maybe not , but asking HIM for wisdom and foresight during horrible or best times is wise.

what is gore teh leftist propaganda? no shit war is ugly
"People die in war. That's what war is! A definition of armies: Kill people and break things."
-Rush Limbaugh
"Fight, rape, war, pillage, burn. Filmic images of death and carnage are pornography for the military man.''
Jarhead: A Marine's Chronicle of the Gulf War and Other Battles by former sniper Anthony Swofford (Scribner, 2003).
that's pretty fucked up.
i was in the military
and that DOES NOT apply to me and the shipmates i served with...including the soldiers i met with every single day
there are a few who are messed up
and there are the many who are decent...most aren't even green and are respectable people/friends
i read parts of jarhead, about the part where one of the soldiers in his platoon was desacrating an enemy corpse with a shovel...about how in the beginning of the war some of the soliders in his division died from friendly fire from a neighboring armor batallion
there are the good and the bad...but that statement swofford made about the military man is a gross generalization, even though he is one himself
a lot of us are not bloodthirsty, some were only in battle
a lot of us have wives, husbands, childrens and parents...we are human beings
they do not live on carnage and death, they were trained and sworn to follow just orders from those appointed over them and goddammit they are not fucking monsters

It is fucked up because it has to be fucked up. If soldiers consciously thought about the fact they were killing other people, with wives, husbands, parents, children, thoughts, fears, hopes, dreams, and a past, it would be almost impossible to pull the trigger.
The reason so many soldiers wind up with post-traumatic stress syndrome is because they aren't bad people. They're just people who have had to do things that are hard to live with.
King_Ding
And let's not forget the thousands of innocent civilian vicims that died on September 11, 2001...they too were casualties of war...a war they did not start, yet were thrust into as unwilling active participants. War is not pretty: the main goal of war is to kill people and blow things up.
The missing images on this site are those of the 3000 +/- lives that were suddenly silenced on 9/11. Those are pictures I never want to see...
