Most people show can exhibit moderation for alcohol .. some can't .. even with a little moderation of Aids .. you're screwed.
It is a false comparison. Alcohol has many beneficial properties but it is dangerous if abused. There is no beneficial aspect of AIDS. Alcohol can be regulated and taxed by the government, and AIDS cannot.
It really isn't very useful to compare them, unless you are making a list of what people die from, and everyone eventually dies of something.
