desperation don't seem to be needed on my side of the political divide, but the democrats are crying like babes do to their "wonderful" way they just blew over 3 trillion dollars in 18 months and they just earned their pink slips...
They "blew" that money, mostly on three big ticket items;
1) bailing us out of the banking collapse that started The Great Recession
2) Continuing the two very expense wars, the two longest in American history
3) Continuing the Bush tax cuts, which cost the Treasury somewhere near 1/4 of the total amount spent.
A different guy taking office in Jan 09 would have had to something very similar, or face Great Depression II. You talk as if Obama spent that money at the casino.
Undermined the entire dollar by printing money like wall paper, the entire wars cost less than the three trillion wasted on BO's watch, the money was truly wasted since they should have let the companies die and let the market eat the weak, the government does not deserve the tax dollars it steals every year and the entitlement mindset can all die in the fire (get a job yins bums), and Great Depression II would have been fairly short until unqualified government stuck it's nose in the mess (just like the last time that government helped keep the depression going for almost a decade).
