It isn't exactly a bulletin that communism isn't a viable economic system. This was widely known throughout Eastern Europe by the late 1980's.

How can communism work when the US dis-allows trade with a country via embargo? Castro did not mention this which means that his age should prevent him from being interviewed and his brother's pro business views the same.
