I feel for the people who's homes were destroyed.
Thankfully, it looks like was on a mostly unpopulated hillside. But there might have been house or two wiped out. I hope they got out in time.
Does Google not realize their street views are so last week. 
Seriously though, does look like it wasn't anything more then land that was swept away.
Yep, I turned the street view to the right, it seems there are a few houses that were directly above in the path of the landslide. Hopefully no one was hurt.
This reminds me of that sinkhole in Montreal, I need to Google that, I haven't heard if the home owners and children survived.
If you head down the road a bit, you'll see a caution sign with an exclamation mark with the word "frana" (landslide).
So either they knew that hill was eventually going to drop and they knew it way in advance. Or the video footage is older than the streetview and they rebuilt the street. I'm guessing the former.
They didn't... all four died.
sorry to be the one to tell you. They thought it was an earthquake and hid in the basement... then got crushed by the debris.
