What a joke. It should have zero to do with the content of the e-mails.

Then is it ok to send 10,000 pieces of spam to each school email account? Where do you draw the line?
if it was for the Democrats than they would have praised her I'll bet!
My point was simple; If she's not to use the address for anything unrelated to school purpose (I'm assuming this to be the case) than regardless of it being political content she's in the wrong. If they allow other unrelated material to be passed around they have no right to comment nor complain about this.

Principal Terry Costa told an Employee Relations investigator that Prudente had been repeatedly warned to stop the e-mails. Assistant Principal Patricia Konttinen stated that teachers had complained about receiving them.
She was warned repeatedly to stop and continued to use her work email to do so, sounds like she absolutely deserves the suspension.
Other places of employment aren't so lenient when it comes to abusing work email. She's lucky she's unionized. If it were a corporate office she would have been let go at will.

I agree with her being punished for using the school's system to spread her own beliefs especially after she was warned. But only if people on the other side of the aisle were also punished. Fat chance of that.
