Ah yes, the banana argument of creation. Unfortunately for the creationist, a very ignorant argument. Unbeknownst to those who use this argument, the modern banana is the product of thousands of years of selective breeding using a process called "artificial selection". Banana farmers have carefully crafted the banana to the fruit that we know today, and it, incidentally, cannot survive in the wild because it can't reproduce. All the trees that produce the bananas you see in the store are cloned through cuttings and have been for a very long time. Of course, if natural selection did not work, then artificial selection would not work either and your banana split would be very different since naturally occurring bananas are little more than seed pods with little of the meat that we prize because they have to reproduce on their own. So, in a way, your web page IS correct when it contends that the banana did not occur by accident, you are simply crediting your invisible friend instead of the thousands of years of hard work on the part of farmers.
That is an extremely stupid website. Natural selection isn't random, but it's not directed either. These people just seem to forget the amount of time they're glazing over.
