Cmass, how kind of you! Posting an article about haunted places in my hometown on Halloween! But I know better haunted places . . . the Old City Jail being the best. Charleston is a beautiful town, stop by for a visit sometime! 
I didn't know it was your home town, but even if I had, I posted it because it caught my interest. I have never been to Charleston, but I look forward to visiting some day. I have only heard good things about it. This story put me in mind of that TV show about a ghostbuster group called TAP. The show is called Ghost Hunters or something like that. The group goes to known haunted sites, they set up all kinds of exotic and not so exotic equipment and record what goes on there. It is fun to watch.

Charleston is right nearby my hometown (which is better by the way) of Savannah! We're more haunted 
This is off topic but I passed a Episcopalian Church the other day and there was a sign outside that read:
"Sunday October 30 - Haunted House and Grave Yard Tour"
The grave yard in the back of this Church dates back to the late 1700's.
Anyway, I thought this was pretty weird and disrespectful to the dead.
