I am sure that this is true, just as it is true than any comparison between Britain's healthcare system and the US healthcare reform should be along the lines that these are two things that are not alike in any meaningful way.
In fact anyone who points to Britain's system, or even Canada's as a way of criticizing the US reform is doing so to confuse or mislead you. Obama's reform, if anything is a move in the opposite direction of those 'Socialized Medicine' systems, because our reform moves people away from government run insurance toward private health insurance.
