That is exactly why I have a Sony Reader and not a Kindle and also why all of my digital books are DRM free! Oh, wait I do have a few that Sony "Gave" me for FREE when I first ran the software that came with my then new reader! Even though they were long out of copyright and free anywhere else also, Sony Put them in their LRX DRMed format instead of the LRF free format! Last time I visited their website, except to get a firmware update!
