As someone who knows "a little" about electricity and even more about the average dummy who will attempt this, I can see major league lawsuits over this posting. Most people can't change a fixture and this guy wants them to rig a line carrying live current to a bulb? It is easy, but the average person will have major difficulty and could even end up getting hurt.

Hmm...so the phone line is free? I need to request a refund from the phone company. 
Also...if everyone connects their phone lines to their outlets, is it possible to make Hoover Dam run backwards?
It would probably be safer to pop the battery out of the cell phone and use that power than to try to rig this up! Also work a lot better since I no longer have a dedicated land line telephone! Voip and cell only here!
