There are plenty of women in Silicon Valley - It's just that Men don't look for them for many various reasons .. and women can get a job here and don't have to get married.

I agree with Big_T, anybody who is likely to go home and program is going to do that no matter where they are and how many women are in the local bars i.e. NERDS
The world is like a giant car, were speeding towards a brick wall at 100 miles per hour and everybody's arguing over where to sit..
