We'll see. Verizon has a nice LOOKING coverage map, but in my experience it is a big fat lie. As for a faster network, most tests do not come up with Verizon's being the fastest, and they all suck compared to broadband. Maybe Verizon has less latency or something, but not from any reviews I have seen and you certainly can't tell from any devices.
Reliability when you DO have good signal will probably be better, but that is largely going to depend on their handset being significantly less successful than the iphone.
Which is kind of ironic. It'll be a better phone only by being less appealing to more people.
I'm pretty much stuck with the iPhone. Just started programming with it professionally and that business is starting to pick up. I haven't had anyone talk about an Android application yet.

Great comparison table of the two power phones.
