Too bad you don't seem to be familiar with NOAA, which keeps temperature records globally and for individual local areas. You should check their website. Their scientists are under the impression the temperatures are higher right now than the average for the past 100 years, and that is in the mini-cool spell we are in right now where the warming we have seen for many decades has tapered off, perhaps temporarily or perhaps not.
If you are going to spew about objectivity and science, go to where they do that stuff, NOAA.
And of course, the average for the last 100 years is absolutely definitive of what is normal on planet pushing 4.5 billion years.
