We can live without India, but they can't do without us very well.
Yet ANOTHER Bush era scheme, pay companies to fire their own employees in favor of exporting their jobs to India and other cheap labor countries.
At least now we know what happens when there aren't enough Americans who still have jobs to buy goods and services.
Mr. Gramps is right, it's all Bush's fault.
I didn't say that. The idea to give companies tax credits for exporting American jobs(populated by American voters) came from the Reagan years. Bush just brought it back as part of a multi-pronged effort to help companies trim their labor costs by sacrificing American jobs.
Bush gambled, correctly, that his propaganda ministers could keep Americans distracted by issues involving God, Guns, and Gays long enough to get reelected.
The fatal flaw in the plan is that when enough Americans are either unemployed or under-employed, the economy suffers as fewer people are buying the consumer goods that power the American economy.
Bush deserves only his fair share of 'credit' for this scheme, no more and certainly no less.
Bush used your tax money to fund the export of your job to India or China or some other such place. Doesn't that deserve some 'credit?'

I'm all for it.
