The ice is melting, so where the polar bears going to live? Even if it's not global warming, it's still melting. Apparently there is heat inside icebergs so they melt with or without global warming. A cup of boiling water contains less heat than a large iceberg.
Climatology is a developing realm of understanding. In a way it's like medicine in that, while we don't even begin to know everything about metabolism, we know enough to say, "Eat your damn veggies." Likewise, we know enough about climatology to say, "Stop spewing carbon, sulphur and mercury into the air.
