A lot of people who think it is "about time" that the wealthy pay more for drugs will be shocked when they find out that the government considers them wealthy.

Yes, those evil rich people. They never pay their fare share. Tax them some more.

fair share? you don't think they pay their fair share? bull shit. they pay more percentage wise than u do already. why should we penalize them more for being successful? that is so bullshit. sure, lots of people pay more in taxes than either u or i make, good for them. i don't want them to pay more just because they have a lot of money. it doesn't make sense.

Unfortunately Madville filtered out my sarcasm & /sarcasm lines because I put them in angled brackets.

My comment was sarcasm. Unfortunately the lines I had to denote that were filtered. What's really scary is such an over the top line can be considered not only reasonable, but even realistic by some (Not you)

I will admit that by most people's standards I am rich, but it might astonish you just how much taxes I pay (more than most people make in a year.) The numbers are almost geometric.... I am paying alot more than 3X the tax than some how makes 1/3 my salary.

A rant on the side....
It took me almost an hour just to print out all the freaking forms I had to file this year. Let alone how long it took to file in FIVE different states... Thank god I was in NY and CA for less than 30 days and that TX does not have income tax, otherwise it would have been 8 states.

$14128 for a family of three is the official poverty line in 2001. Everyone else is rich.

Sieze this, Honkus.

The government should just implement a flat tax and be done with it.

If you're not outraged, you're simply not paying attention.
