300 million Americans and 7 billion worldwide and the Religous Right thinks its the right time to attack birth control. What I want to know is how many people do they think is enough. Soon, we will reach the limit and billions will have to die, most of them of starvation. The easiest way to prevent this from happening is birth control.
The US won't need Sharia Law to screw us over if some of the candidates for office get into power. They have already worked to restrict access to birth control and other related services for women by attacking Planned Parenthood. Now they want to exclude birth control from prescription drug benefits because they have taken money and have taken a pledge, not to serve the public, but to serve the interest of religious groups you may not belong to or agree with.
If you want a future where it is hard to get birth control and if you get pregnant, even harder to terminate it, then let these people get into office, either by voting for them or failing to vote against them.
And at the very extreme is the Personhood Bills which appear to make it illegal to have a miscarriage. Any pregnancy not completed to term would a crime, and since the dawn of the human race we have never done much better than an 80% rate, not counting intentional termination. A pregnant woman's life is secondary to the life of the unborn child, even if that unborn child is already dead due to natural causes. Think this is an exaggeration? Then check it out, and educate yourself as to what might happen next year.
If you are a female, or if you are related to a female, you have to wake up and discover what these people want to do.

This indeed a highly disturbing statistic. For the first time in decades Democrats are forced to worry about the potential for reduced government benefits due the to US and global food and money shortages caused by the rich and greedy holding more their fair sized piece of the economic pie and hoarding corn and forcing high prices on it to sell as ethanol. Many democrats may now have to support themselves and their children themselves, rather than having a federal family pipeline to pay them to have children amd manufacture progressive voters. Fewer progressive children (potential progressive voters) and fewer dollars to buy votes with directly threaten the Democratic way of life and politics. An unjust and greedy society faces trained dependent progressives unfortunately.
