That is basically what the guy is saying, but this issue has gotten so far through the Looking Glass that anything that brings the subject closer to reality is a good thing.
Just follow the money as the fraud continues.

This is exactly what I mean Mac, thebaron is one of those people who have been thoroughly convinced that there is a global conspiracy of scientists who are perpetrating a fraud on the world, and that the only source of hard, true, unbiased information exposing that fraud comes from corporations who burn fossil fuels for a business.
What makes this doubly frustrating for me is that 30 years ago, the same scenario played out where there was another conspiracy of scientists, researchers, and doctors, who were motivated by greed for research dollars, who in a calloused disregard for the truth, for free enterprise, and for American business in particular, perpetrated a liberal-inspired fraud that there is a link between smoking and cancer. Luckily for right thinking conservatives at the the time, there was a source of unbiased information on this topic, the tobacco companies.
So crazy that we have to play out this charade once again.
