Did ya ever notice how annoying death is.
RIP, Mr. Rooney, you were not my thing, but I once made fun of you in front of my dad and he wouldn't speak to me for a week. You were that generations lovable, hairy eyebrowed curmudgeon.
Religion is like a penis. It is fine to have one. It is fine to be proud of it. But please don't whip it out in public and start showing everyone. And please don't shove it down our childrens throat.

Andy Rooney was the best part of The Greatest Generation. Smart, witty, observant, and blessed with something in short supply these days, a sense of integrity and objectivity about life in general.
I don't see anyone like that coming up to replace him.
