I think Kadaffi (or however you spell his name) was a greater threat to the US and Europe than Saddam. Libya was active for a very long time in international terrorism, the Lockerbie incident being just one example.
Whether the Arab Spring uprising in Libya turns out to be a good thing or a bad thing depends on what happens from here.
Let's hope for the best.
Lockerbie is a damn good point.. If you consider how many people used the Lockerbie Bomber as a political talking point.
