I am not sure which is worse, the dumb ass cry baby politician or the asshole lawyer that took the case and filed the action.

The only reason people get lost in thought is because it's unfamiliar territory.

How about including the judge as he seems to be an asshat as well.

While anti-choice groups are one of the most wrong headed political groups going right now, the correct response to the threat these fanatics pose to the rest of us is in countering their extremist message with a more mainstream one in the political arena. This guy who got beaten by them should just buck up and go home and maybe do something productive with his life.

What's wrong with holding people accountable for deliberate falsehoods?

Nothing if there is a valid claim that can actually be proven. This isn't one. It is unclear if he brought a claim for defamation or just "loss of livelihood". Either way, I think this case is bullshit and the judge is a dumb ass for wasting court time and resources on it.

The judge might just want to set precedent he believes won't be overturned. Sometimes getting sanity on the record isn't a waste of time.

This is a political fight and it should be played out in the political arena, not in the courts.

Most polling on abortion since 1972 showed that about 70% favor something close to a pro choice position while about 30% favor outlawing abortion totally.

The numbers have hardly changed in decades. This is a fight where the sane people can prevail over the fanatics in a straight up vote.

The hard line of the GOP against abortion has hardened and has spilled over to a war on contraception, cancer prevention, and cancer detection. Those of us on the other side shouldn't be afraid to take these people on politically.

This is the dumbest position taken by the Republican party by far.

I agree with your last statement, but this most certainly is not that type of case. If you read the article and believe half of what is said about the judge he is doing this for other reasons.

It is typical of the Democrats to run away from an issue in terror when the vast majority of voters are on their side.
