Little "Annie" is just the latest incarnation of a long time "contributer" to MV. I have lost track of how many times this individual has been banned from the site by Zemmy but "Annie" always comes back with a new screen name and the same ugly point of view.

Has steamed been banned now too .. or has someone in a white uniform or a black suit caught up with him? Looking at his MV info - I guess he was finally banned - last appearance in Oct 18 - 2011. I know I deleted a few of his inflaming racial posts .. his political ones - no one had the gall to ban him though .. I am thinking that Zem finally did however.
I guess I missed that event. His number of posts was becoming quite obsessive.
A few MV'ers thinks that steamed mostly posted negative things about progressives and liberals when he was really quite had a broad paint brush when he was trolling - he was equal opportunity with his posts of just about everyone in America. A search of his links will show this .. that and his mental stability.
Do a search on links with the title steamed in it .. look who has the most derogatory posts about steamed. I for one am not trying to stick up for the trolling steamed, as he would post more inflaming posts about race, religion and politics than anyone, but the preponderance of the links dissing him were from a few people although I think it can be said he was dissed by all, just some more than others. I often wouldn't even read his posts as you were just asking for trolling trouble if you did.
IMHO here are far more left wing nut posts than right wing nut posts - I suppose it depends on what side of the fence you sit on. Too bad we don't have a politics topic - so you can just avoid reading political links .. and what some people think that are interesting or not. It is a very sad testament however, that the political threads get the most comments and discussion .. and most of the of the entertaining ones do not, not even a thumbs up - why do people even visit MV then .. GO figure.
It is hard for people in society to behave civilly towards each other when discussing, politics, religion or sports .. that is also even more true on the internet where people do not have face to face interaction that has social boundaries .. on the internet .. it is keyboard to keyboard and that can have few if any boundaries and certainly can be an uncivil place.
I don't mind other views on things. The right seem more hate-filled painting all not them with the same bile-spewing brush the democrats are anti-semetic.

I would argue that steamed's escalation was a direct response to Gramps and Iamparty (I think that was him). Heck, Gramps could not even respond to this thread with digging on the the right( as to the left wanting everyone to have what they need and the right wanting to enrich the rich).
Gramps, that is what is making MV the hell hole it has become. Of course I have been wrong before...

I will just say that I think I gave a pretty dead center accurate example of the difference between left and right wing nuts, people that I have little use for at either extreme.
There was a widely reported story in the media this morning quoting Rick Perry saying he has "no problem" with income inequality. For me it is the statement of a fool, just a step below "Let them eat cake".
