There it is, folks, right there in steamed's comment, all the feral ugliness that radical conservatives have toward any American who has a decent paying job. They instinctively want to gut the pay for that job and get a person who is in the country illegally to do that job for 10% of what unionized workers get, or find some way to export that job to China or India or Vietnam so that the job gets done a lot cheaper, leaving lots of money left over for executive bonuses.
If you work for a living, these people hate you and want to eliminate your job, or at a minimum cut your pay in half.
It's not just radical conservatives, it's all conservatives that demand low wage slaves to work for them. These neocon business people just can't grasp the concept that the only reason to start a business is to create jobs and generate tax money.
I wionder if our congress critters know that once the USPS is out of business Fexex and UPS will have no reason to continue contributing to them. I wonder how much economical damage the death of the post office will cause. Fedex and UPS aren't setup to handle lots of local mail so things will chaotic for the first year or two. Lots of businesses that depend of mail will be impacted and many will go out of business.

Postal workers expect wide support in what they see as a battle to save a national treasure that serves every American and every business with bi-monthly postal increases to save the dream of pensions destroyed by e-mail. The FF sees this is a great punch at the mechanisms of the federal family. It's a good thing that the American public wasn't notified of this strike by surface mail as they would have never received the announcement.
