More likely, the people funding the Tea Party have had enough of protecting the environment, we are all going to have to live with a lot more pollution so that a hand full of people can make more billions.
The cost to polluters is zero because the costs are tax deductable. The cost of not making the change is human lives and suffering. These congressmen must be mental sick or just evil. If economical cost to the polluters were their concern then pass a law to simple increase the amount of tax credits already provided. But I think the sound of child suffering from an asmatha attack must be the thing that bring joy to these sick congressmen ears. Pollution kills people!
We think western oil is dangerous in general and westerners should only use Arab Oil, in great quantity. The neocons that use the oil should be heavily taxed though. Minorities and gays, as part or reparations, should not be taxed.
That's it, scare the public into accepting whatever level of pollution that the energy industry thinks is okay.
