Keep in mind, gunwalker isn't just an obama administration issue. There's been an ongoing problem in the structure and management of BATFE, and setting them up as the red headed stepchild of the DOJ is not helping keep them honest.

The DOJ is saying they didn't know this was going on ... and the folks in the WH are saying they had no idea, how do you spell ATF'???
This had to have been a pretty expensive operation and to think that the proper people in DC knew nothing is ether extremely incompetent - lying .. or both.
The program may have been well intentioned .. at least in some bureaucrats 'best judgment' ... however since the deadly outcome - everyone in the chain of command is clamming up - and to me, that is the worst part .. or maybe the worst part is that the media doesn't seem to care, so therefore the populace doesn't know about it .. and then there is half the populace thinks that this is a team red vs team blue sort of thing and think nothing of the federal officer(s) that died over this belly flop of a program.

I dont see some grand media coverup from searching the news wires(Though i dont watch TV news). Also, seems the people of Mexico are the ones to pay for this.. Not the FED.
