Did the GOP need their shoeshine boy? Steamed has been awfully quiet. Kinda funny though they railed against the fairness doctrine (that actually hadn't been used since 1983 and was one of those laws like whistling on a Sunday that was just there but ignored) when in this country we only have two parties...right wing and extremist right wing.
you have one party that kisses the butt of special interests, sends jobs overseas and rewards companies for doing so, spends money like drunken sailors and starts wars in third world countries so their friends can cash checks dipped in the blood of brown people...and then you have one party that kisses the butt of special interests, sends jobs overseas and rewards companies for doing so, spends money like drunken sailors and starts wars in third world countries so their friends can cash checks dipped in the blood of brown people.
Kinda hard to have a fairness doctrine when your "choices" are "Check this box to vote for el presidente!" and "Show the suits how you REALLY feel...check this box to vote for el presidente!". the late great sage Bill Hicks nailed it more than 25 years ago, and sadly even though the man has been gone 20 years now, it is even more true today "Well I think the puppet on the left shares MY beliefs, well i think the puppet on the right has my interests at heart....hey wait a minute, there is one guy controlling both puppets!
This sux. No longer will it be required that conservatives co-host MSNBC shows, or progressives co-host/co-write all conservative shows. It looks like Bush finally got his way.
