It is so inappropriate for a public school to ban a book because it isn't biblical enough for them, but the real irony is that when Slaughterhouse 5 was written, there was no official acknowledgement that the central event in the novel, the 1945 fire bombing of Dresden ever even happened.
These knuckleheads want to ban a book that was created, in part, to reveal a government coverup of an event from World War II. Way to strike a blow for censorship and government secrecy with one blow. How unAmerican!
