Since most people could not understand what a trillion dollars would look like and they should be very worried when that word becomes common....
Debt? Problem? It depends on what the definition of a problem is. Since there is $7,800 in debt for every man, woman and child that lives in the U.S., I would say that people and governments that are not in debt have some kind of a problem handling money and are in the bottom of the bell curve in rational thinking. Borrowing creates jobs, therefore, an unlimited debt ceiling is needed for the government and the people. This debt some rude people may call a bad decision. Those people that feel they are so smart and make "good decisions" are inherently responsible for covering for those they consider make bad decisions. You could call these "good" decision makers responsible for the health of society and should treat the "bad" decision makers as if they were their own children, helping them along the pathway to adulthood, but still still paying for everything because the "good" decision makers are rich and greedy at heart.

Kinda reminded me of an elementary school exercise that illustrates a million by students' counting/weighing rice or the confetti from hole-punching.
Just noticed something... the WTC as a comparison?
