Why do you feel compelled to make these asinine statements?
The meaning of this interchange is exactly what it appears to be; this guy from Focus on the Family distorted data from a government study to support a point of view which his organization holds as gospel truth, but which is not really true, which is that a family has an impossibly narrow definition and that everything else is an abomination.
Focus on the Family is entitled to its point of view, but the Senator is absolutely correct in pointing out that the Senate shouldn't take that point of view seriously. They spin, and fudge, and lie to make their points, which is perhaps why you support them.
The bigger question is why are people like you, and them, so driven to prove to people things which aren't so? They, and you, should just give it up. Stop it. Now. Enough already.
I am compelled to pour my feelings fourth. The rapture that I feel cannot be capped. The pain throughout must be shouted before thee so relief will descend upon my soul.

How could Tim Minnerys be so stupid. He is probably a white male Christian who want allow himself the pleasure of a mistress, that wants to leave God in the Pledge of Allegiance, and the Ten Commandments in the courthouse wall. The reason children are so screwed up these day is because of their straight parents, 50% of whom divorce. I say that all straight parent who get pregnant should, by law, be forced to have an abortion. What an _ss.
