I haven't thought about that "Giant sucking sound" in a long, long time. Ross Perot's speeches, and how he described exactly what we could command our US politicians to do to get the ball rolling to destroy the US economy, were an epiphany for us. First we shut down Ross Perot's campaign using some of our Chicago specialist. We had our people increase foreign aid, build more schools overseas, bring in more people from overseas to train and spy on your high tech industries, and had our people pay for a Jessie Jackson "Rent a Riot" bus full o' professionally unemployed people brought in to defend undocumented workers whenever anybody whined about the job losses. Thank you for returning us to that most wonderful time and place Mr. hairyfeet.

And of course you got Rev Gore pushing for carbon credits in the west while he farts around on his Lear Jet and goes home to mcMansion so big 20 families could live comfortable in the thing and his AC units could cause brownouts, yet he won't say a peep about China and India polluting like mad, why? Of right he and his pals in Goldman Sachs MAKE CRAZY MONEY off the suffering in the third world, how silly of me.
Sadly Both the Ds and the RS have sold us out, and the only difference between the two now is which booty they kiss. The Ds like the taste of big media and union booty, the Rs prefer the tangy flavor of the military industrial complex and big business booty and they BOTH kiss the multinational butt as fast as they can.
Old Ross was right, we are NEVER gonna get any better playing the D VS R game, since they are two sides of the same coin. The is why I hope Jessie Ventura runs. Being an ex SEAL he knows what it is like to get shot at and won't send our kids into needless wars, believes what you do in your home is your own business, and believes if we have to build razorwire to stop the border leaking like a sieve so be it. Frankly ANYTHING would be better than what they have, and I'd vote for our own Crazy Joe at this point. I wonder if this is what Rome was like right before the fall?

As for Steam and his jobs? Sadly BO DID create jobs, but just as the republicans have done for over a decade those jobs were created in CHINA and INDIA which Ross Perot predicted nearly 25 years ago with his "giant sucking sound".
It is time to go back to being isolationist and stop letting the big corps use our tax payer money to run over us, like GE which paid NO taxes for nearly 2 decades and just sent their top jobs to India, after getting a bailout first from Dubya, then a second from BO. Close the borders, close the loopholes like the double dutch, China products? BANNED until they stop artificially keeping the Yuan lower than the dollar, the END of corporate welfare and raise taxes to 1955 levels. Do this and we can right this ship, don't? And well I hope you enjoy what has happened with the Arab spring because we'll be next in line when the dollar collapses.
