What is actually happening is that helpless workers are being laid off so that their salaries can be 'redistributed' to the company's executives. Happens all the time. What the hell is steamed worried about?

Not that union bosses grab all that money and don't really care about their members, so they don't lose their power. See automotive bail out that should have never happen as a perfect example...

So you are saying that the tax money that went to bail out the auto companies was actually collected by union bosses? How did that happen?

Never mind, just let me point out that a lot of auto workers lost their jobs, while a lot of auto executives were bailed out. This happens a lot, workers are laid off and executives get big bonuses. As rotten as this situation is, it is made worse by those who would perpetrate the falsehood that something like the reverse, as suggested by steamed and other, is what is happening.

It would be like the police interrupting an armed robbery only to have the bad guy claim that the victim was taking HIS money.
