Pretty sure they are saying elections shouldnt make people partisan asses.. And from what i see around here, thats about right.
PS by taking a look at the front page of the weeklystandard i think i understand why its big news to them. Should be the WeeklyConservativeStandardPartisanRag
That's one way to take it. But if you read her whole statement, she's basically saying everyone should agree with me, so that there should be little difference between any two given candidates, and thus elections shouldn't really matter when it comes down to it.
Which is a pretty shady sentiment.
I don't like the doodie head politics that has spiraled out of control since bush was elected, but there is a LOT of room for legitimate disagreement about what is the best course of action, and what we should be spending money and effort on.
Yeah, but I am with thebaron on this one, Pelosi is a loon, but hardly the only one in the House and Senate.
Ah dont get me wrong, i dont care for Pelosi much myself.. Well, i should more say i dont have a use for her either way.
To my Republican friends: take back your party. So that it doesn 19t matter so much who wins the election, because we have shared values about the education of our children, the growth of our economy, how we defend our country, our security and civil liberties, how we respect our seniors. Because there are so many things at risk right now -- perhaps in another question I'll go into them, if you want. But the fact is that elections shouldn't matter as much as they do...But when it comes to a place where there doesn't seem to be shared values then that can be problematic for the country, as I think you can see right now.
I just think they are trying to partisan up the quote.

Would someone please vote this loon out of office! She is crazy as they come and only Blackmail kept her in power after their historical loss.
