Clinton was the champion of free trade and globalization. Democrats are also the biggest proponents of the "rights" of illegals.

Free Trade is not necessarily a bad thing, but it is bad for American workers, no matter who puts it forward.
Once you don't allow free trade, you create an artificial ecosystem. This, in general, is not good.
We need better education in this country and we need to encourage the people and companies that provide jobs. We have to compete in that world economy.
This is exactly what we want to hear! Thanks for the post. The majority of government employees vote socialist; we've got it in the bag now more than ever. What we need now are more government employees and we can do that through more facists government bailouts of unionized industries.

In other words, globalization has been a success. Manufacturing has been outsourced overseas and immigrant workers have been imported to do manual labor.
This is part of the reason that middle class and blue collar Americans are in Recession while the Management and Ownership classes of Americans are wealthier than ever.
We aren't a nation of takers so much as a nation of outsourcers of job and nation of importers of cheap labor.
