Well lets see. Lead, phthalates (hate spelling that word), and cadmium.
Lead and phthalates are used as flex agents in vinyl wall and floor coverings. Short of eating your vinyl wallpaper, they will do you no harm. Even then, you would have to eat a LOT of wallpaper. So unless you suffer from pica, this is stupid fearmongering.
As for cadmium, it is the base of most pigments used in paint. They are bound in salts, and unless the salt is readily soluble, you aren't at risk unless you are sanding down the walls. Even then, you are probably not at much risk unless you are a postmenopausal woman with mineral deficiencies.
And tiles wear over time? Yeah, probably slower than you excrete lead out of your system. This isn't like a baby's chew toy. And vinyl flooring? Sheesh. Not everything needs to be able to be a teething aid for babies.

This reminds me of the Paris Green they used to use in wallpaper, way back before I was born, that flaked off Arsenic into the room, where it was eaten and breathed in by the occupants!
