Upon re-reading the article I am sad to see the AFL-CIO is pushing for greater defense spending in order to employee its members and increase union dues to elect progressive candidates (the last part is good though). I would rather see unemployed, government dependent dole receiving union members than union members employed in the military industrial complex. You?
