We read with disgust, It is these same activist judges that interpret the 2nd Ammendment as allowing just about any inmate of the US to own a gun.

A state is better governed which has but few laws, and those laws strictly observed. Some really wacky neocon named R. Decartes

Voters keep electing liars to office in the local, state and national elections. Incumbents often get re-elected to congress by a 85-90% rate ... with those critters in DC - talk about your congenital liars.

There have been two good examples of this in the news recently, one from each Party.

Former Illinois governor Blago was only convicted of the Martha Stewart offense of fibbing to the FBI, after all the crap that he allegedly did. It gives you an idea of how loose the laws are for corruption in office of the particular type that Blago was accused of.

The second is former Speaker of the House, Tom "The Hammer" DeLay, who won't face federal charges for being the go-to guy in office for the greatest influence peddler/lobbyist-crook in US history. How could the guy who made the deals go to jail for a long time while the guy who's influence he peddled can't even get an indictment?

Both guys said virtually the same thing, that they never broke the law, which gives you an idea of how hard it must be to break the current laws.
