The funniest thing of all is that no one had a problem with this until some propagandizing blogger turned into something that it isn't.
Bullshit.
No, I think it is a true statement. Until that blogger started having a hissy fit, the project was going smoothly, as I understand it.
Whatever. There has been opposition from day one and it grew as the general public became widely aware of the project. I don't buy into the "poisonous propaganda" crap. When people feel something is wrong, in their mind it is wrong. To many people, putting a Muslim place of worship in the proximity of a Muslim attack site is just wrong.
I challenge you to take your own personal poll Gramps. I think you visit a pretty wide variety of folks in your daily travels. Why you don't ask a few random people what they think of this. Ask if they read any of the crap from this blogger or if they just felt it is wrong. I'd be willing to bet they just don't like it. A majority of the polls tell me that is a safe bet.
You might as well lump up all Right Wingers with Tim McVeigh and kick them out of Oklahoma while you are at it.
I support the constitution and states rights! Unless it offends me! If you really support states rights so much why dont you stay out of the busisness of other states? Should have nothing to do with you.
OK, so if you walked up to your average person and asked, "Do people have the right to build churches wherever they want?" they would say, "No"?

Funny what some people get worked up about!
