Islam is not a misunderstood religion and those trying to push that they are the religion of "peace" are full of it. Gays should not be able to marry, but I would accept civil union. Greatly reduced government and responsibility for your own life, so "Oh Nos" might have to get a job and support your own lazy ass.

No, I don't think so. The average Joe has not been brainwashed. Ground Zero is hallowed ground. Islam, radical or not, is to blame for it. I think that is the way most people see it regardless of any "poisonous propaganda". Go build your place of worship elsewhere.
