You mean the way that the Catholic Church has tolerated child abusers, or the way fundamentalists have tolerated threats and worse against abortion clinics, or the way both Irish Catholics and Protestants have tolerated sectarian violence, and so on, or do you mean it in a different sense?
Because if we get rolling here banning religions with blood (or little kids) on their hands, we might just have to clean them all out.
I am neither catholic or irish (just a dash), but the difference is the huge political element that is flipside of Islam (much worst than ancient catholic church with the pope greatly influenced politics across europe and the parts of middle east) that allows the abuse of their own people and murder of other faiths as just highlights of their injustice they attempt to force on the west.
