Meet the new boss. Same as the old boss. Heard that song form the Who about 30 years ago for the first time. Funny how true that song has turned out to be. We need a total makeover of our political system before it's too late. Now that I think about it, it's probably already too late. Too many people are asleep.

"There can be no doubt that the Obama administration inherited a legal and moral morass, and that in important respects it has endeavored to restore the nation 19s historic commitment to the rule of law," the report concludes.

Really? What has it done to restore the nation's commitment to the rule of law? They haven't fixed crap, and never intended to. They whine about the other side abusing powers and undermining the constitution only because they wish they could be doing that much and more right now. That applies to both sides of the aisle.

Yeah, I think I am with you on this one, raz. Bush stepped way outside established law and probably even the Constitution and Obama is just enjoying the extra power rather than doing the right thing and correcting the abuses he inherited.

This is a major black eye for the Obama Administration.

And Bush built on clinton, who built on Bush, who built on Reagan, etc.. At least Back to Teddy Roosevelt. I probably only say that because that's about as far back as we don't bother glossing over details with summaries as far as history goes (at least if you don't want to be doing some heavy research).

I should take a picture of this .. Gramps said something negative about Obama!

Obama has expanded those 'privileges' and looking and looking to expand them more .... from yesterday's news ...White House proposal would ease FBI access to records of Internet activity

You should pay better attention, Big T.

I always call 'em as I see 'em and I don't have those rose colored glasses you accuse me of.

In my experience those who accuse others of bias are the most biased people.

I do as much as I can to keep bias to a minimum. I have no problem criticizing any politician regardless of Party or ideology. You can look up my criticisms of Rangle, Hillary, Pelosi, Reid, and even Bubba himself.

I don't hold back my opinion.

You certainly don't hold your opinion back. I've seen you criticize Pelosi and Reid ... that's not hard to do at all ,.. but Obama criticism is a rare thing and it is usually GW's fault.

Obama is just another politician. I am pretty sure he puts his pants on one leg at a time. And like any president he has done some things well and some things not so well.

Another thing that I have often said about Bush is that he is only responsible for the things that he is actually responsible for. He invaded the wrong country, that counts against him. He didn't cause Hurricane Katrina to hit NOLA. The same rules apply to anyone and to everyone. A bad decision is a bad decision no matter who makes it. Obama chose to believe whatever BP chose to say about the oil spill in the early weeks of the event, even after it was clear that BP would say whatever they felt like saying. BP would put out a statement the couldn't possibly be true about how much oil was leaking, and the White House would parrot whatever BP said.

That is a bad decision no matter who makes it.
