If you look at what little record she has, the only thing you see is some activism. She has played it close to the vest and is a tough one to read.
That might be the whole point! It has become increasingly difficult lately to push through anyone that has ever said anything, since no matter what was said it is going to displease some party!
No, that's not the point. The point is she hasn't said much. She has no record to go off of. No bench time(which isn't all that bad), no real practice time (which is real bad IMO), and only life in academia and government(which are terrible IMO).
She isn't the worst Barry could have done, so I see her making it.
No doubt there have been intense "Private" conversations about her views! What the GOP doesn't know about, they can't object to, without looking Silly! Though that has never bothered them before, but in the present political climate that might not be a good thing! Anyone with a real record they could dig into, would have a much harder time pleasing everyone!
For you to imply that the GOP is the only party that plays these games is silly.
At the present time it is there turn to play that game!! Last time it was the Democrats turn to play the Silly game and jump up and down and stomp their feet!
Yeah, Ted Kennedy started this with Bork way back when and it has only gotten uglier and nastier since then. Both sides make fools of themselves by playing it.
Moving up to present times, the thing Republicans say that irritates me the most when a Democrat nominates someone has to do with whether or not a person will judge based on the law or whether they will judge based on their political agenda. Let's face it, conservatives LOVE it when judges rule based on their political agenda as long as it is THEIR political agenda. I didn't hear any conservatives complain when the present Supreme Court found corporate campaign money to be covered under Freedom of Speech, which is an ideological point of view rather than one of established law. The Supremes legislated that right from the bench and not a peep was heard because they legislated it from the bench in their direction. Hypocrites!
That's bullshit. The ruling was based upon solid interpretation. Just because you don't like the outcome doesn't make it political.

That has already been answered, she is a liberal Activist, according to at least one GOP Senator!
