What do you think profits and interest are. They are the redistribution of wealth. The rich practice it all the time thats why they are wealthy. If it is good enough for the rich then its good enough for the rest of us.
The rest of us aren't sharing in it though .. only those that are 'represented' and will vote for democraps
Maybe if anyone in the GOP, anyone at all, would have voted for it they might have gotten more from it.
That fact hasn't stopped dozens of elected GOPers from taking credit for the stimulus that they voted against.
Isn't that kind of interesting?
Taxes are not based upon your political party - though it would appear that compensation from those taxes are.
Gramps .. TARP 1 was under GW's watch .. passed by the dem congress - a very sleazy deal ... you can't even remember a year ago correctly. TARP 2 was all dem. These two bills were an atrocity anyway, something that your grandkid will be paying off ... all they can say is .. I wish that the older generation would have taken care of their own business instead of sloughing it off for future generations to deal with. This is what the me generation left us .. not only did they spend all the previous WWII generations had built up and they also spent my inheritance. It wasn't all spent on fun things as the corporations and banks absconded with a lot of this money with the help of politicians.
And tell me how this time for a change thing is working for you .. have you gone out and bought some things lately ... notice how it is all costing much more than it did a year or so ago .. inflation and your dollar sinking in action.
Actually that hopey-changey think is working out for me, as imperfect and flawed as it is. TARP and the TARP2 are different animals in my view. The first was a Bush style giveaway to industry with little or no strings attached. Corporate welfare.
Our grandchildren aren't going to be paying off the tab for the better-designed bailouts under Obama's watch, because there is a good chance we will get paid back for those loans. Some have already been paid back, and with a bit of interest, too.
And let's not forget that we were heading straight for a 1929 style Depression until Bush put the first TARP together. That and the Obama bailouts put the skids on the soup kitchen future that we narrowly avoided.
And yes, even my personal finances have improved lately, beginning more than a year ago and continuing to improve very slowly.
Happy?

Well they haven't been very Bi-Partisan lately, so no votes, no money and they don't get to add stuff to legislation they don't participate in, now do they! They should be glad the Democrats through them that big a bone!
