True, this has ugly civil liberties implications. But so does charging the wrong person for the crime. What I like is Justice, which is what happens when the bad guy gets caught and everyone else is left alone.

Actually, they shut down cavlry arms and raided shot show, so the batfe is leaning on maufacturers. Batfe has also been strongarming private citizens threatening them with criminal charges because they bought more one gun from one store and they don't like that. You know, to protect the mexicans.
So yeah, if you like entrapment, warrentless search and siezure, and guilty until proven innocent, then it is all fine.

Actually, it was more about not putting up with another AWB, and that was more about congress than the president.
But it was also about a return to the clinton era abuses of the BATFE. And that is starting to crop back up. On the upside, the rank and file saw how they were thrown under the bus last time, and are vocally opposing a lot of the abuses.
There's also the cases with the USSC.
