Big thing is this happened in Boulder, Colorado! That is about the most long hair, Birkenstock wearing, Liberal community in the Country! There is going to be a lot of stuff hitting the fan in that town over this!

I hear stories like this one all the time. A single mom with a female roommate, both straight as if it is anyone's business anyway, can get turned down for various kid related stuff, including Catholic school, because someone turns an eyebrow up over two females living together. (Straight people rooming together is a common enough occurrence, but even the appearance of The Ghey can be a problem for some people)
