No one has a clue its because the value of gold hasn't gone up, but the value of the dollar has gone down.

Same here. Just installed a new piece of equipment, and since Obama wants his fair share of it, its leased. I don't pay taxes on it until I own it at the end of the lease 7 years from now.

A million just doesnt last like it used to and mostly from smaller busisness owners and investors.. You know, the guys the US gov and Obama are trying to keep down.
I pay well over 33% in federal taxes. If they really wanted my business to grow (which means I'd have more product to sell, henceforth the govt could collect more SALES tax) they would cut my tax down to 15%. Instead every year my taxes creep up, by what they call a 'small margin' They never seem to go down. They like to appraise my building at 5x what it could sell for as well, and I have to complain to the county every year to get it back to where it belongs.
And don't get me started on this god forsaken city I have my business in. They're all as crooked as a pigs dick.
Well, it seems to be working for some doesnt it? No one likes taxes, no one wants to pay taxes.. And where would we be if we didnt? Long, long ago we figured out that to survive man had to help other men. It has been that way all through the evolution of history. Yet these days in our comfort we sit and look down on other men, and we say "its not my problem" But the sad fact is it is a problem for us all. Society is a burdon of humanity but that wont be changing anytime soon.
FWIW, the income gap between the wealthy and poor hasn't been this large since the roaring 20s. It's the elephant in the room that will continue to be a weight around our economy's neck.
Only thing I am worried about, is I may be eating cat food before all this is over!
