It is a nearly perfect analogy, JMZ, except for these few minor details.
1) Al Gore holds no public office, nor has he in a decade.
2) Al Gore, who spouts Family Values as much as anyone in the GOP, has managed to do so without a sex scandal.
3) Al Gore isn't gay while pretending not to be, unless you know something about Tipper that the rest of us don't.
