Making political deals isn't corruption.
I disagree since they are using our money and offering sweet deals for a vote. If people don't consider this BS business as usual, than it is a sadder day in the world.
No, corruption is the use of an office for personal gain or gain of family and friends. This is political deal-making. The alternative is absolutism.
Yah that is some BS, why didnt you speak out against Bush when he did it? Or Bush Sr? Because you play a team game and you dont really care about America.

In his book, Karl Rove accuses Democrats of using accusations about Iraq WMD as a poison arrow aimed at the heart of the Bush presidency. He doesn't even acknowledge that those accusations were true. He positions criticism, even valid criticism of the president as unpatriotic (as long as the president in question is his guy).
Look at this crap and see what passes for valid criticism of a non-Bush president.
Let me know when one of the other Congressmen's relatives gets the same deal, then he might have a case!
