Many polls use less than 1,500 samples. Rasmussen is considered to be one of the more reliable polling outfits.

The point was that it is rough being a politician and even the 'top political dawg' in the country is not fairing very well.

I've said time and time again, I would not vote for Plain, I did not vote for McCain and Palin.

I tried finding a poll on the esteemed Ron Paul and could only find results from some time back.

It was the "likely voters" part that stumped me. Wouldn't actual voters be better?

It would be wonderful if everyone of legal age and status voted.

There were polls showing roughly the same thing at various points in Bush's presidency. A year before he was narrowly re-elected, it looked as if he had no chance at all, if you took the polls seriously.

Then the smart dems brought the ever charismatic and polarizing John Kerry as their Prez candidate in 2004 ... what could go wrong.

The dems better hope that Palin wins the repub nomination in 2012 ... but the way they keep pointing our her weaknesses she would have a hard time winning many states. Yet another brilliant move by the dem strategists.

I'm convinced that people like you vote for moron candidates because you have a lot in common with them. "But I can have a beer with Bush" is a euphemism for "he's a fucking idiot like I am." People love Palin because she's "on their level."

Never amazes how a self professed genius like yourself always thinks he's smarter than everyone else, the same type person that hates religious people because they are holier than thou espouses he is smarter than everyone else because you know better and those other people are acting stupidly because they don't agree with your beliefs.

I'll be you voted for Gore, Kerry and Obama. I would hazard to say you've never voted for anyone other than a democrat for president in your short lifetime.

The really sad thing is that Kerry had far more charisma than Al Gore or some of the other losers that the dems have put up for what is basically a media position since Reagan.

Yeah but pointing out that Kerry has charisma is like pointing out that Bush has a Harvard MBA. It is true, but it doesn't mean much.
