Maybe the title should be Wind Power plus Current Leadership does not equal Job power for US.

This country had a chance to expand it's wind power and other alternative sources of energy back in the 70's during the 'first' oil embargo .. Jimmy Carter .. of course failed that challenge, as well as other presidents and administrations since that time.
Mr. Time for a change, as failed miserably in this effort as well. When 'talking' about getting jobs, and 'talking' about alternative forms of energy, he could have really done a great job in this department, yet his administration is very much like his predecessors and are puppets to big oil interests. George Soros - big time Obama investor, has profited handsomely from the money that has been sent for petro investments in South America ... but that is another topic. This administration has chosen to invest in foreign entities for oil and alternative forms of energy. Big surprise here for some I'm sure. Millions are laid off from work and the administration and critters in DC have no ambition or incentive from big money to make this happen and help put people back to work in the US. No vision, no guts, and a lot of lip service how they want a change yet when they have the opportunity to do this - changing infrastructure for utilities and the like, it's not going to happen as the lobbyists don't want it to happen and they would rather talk about global warming, and crap and trade and other buzz topics to save the world but just line peoples pockets and really don't do immediate constructive things.
Quite the rant - but it upsets me so ... this issue has been around since the 70's and not much has been done - now when all this TARP money is being lavished on Wall Street and banks .. there is a pittance being spent on things that could really make a difference .. and then whatever money that is being spent on alternative energy - much of it is going out of this country.
Obama is not the only leader we have had. And I'm talking about leadership at other levels than presidential (although that is included).
Somewhere in the midwest, they bought wind towers and forgot to ensure they will work in the winter time when it freaking cold....
